ITC Maurya, New Delhi India hotel review

Like most Starwood Group Hotels, ITC Maurya New Delhi oozed class and style.
The lobby and Executive Clubs were tastefully decorated in classic wooden and marble furniture. It was traditional, yet had a trendy and modern elegance about it. Similar furnishings were used in our room which had a large king bed and a large study desk perfect for business travellers and bloggers like us!

Outside, there is a pool with cabanas and a bar which we frequented during happy hour, and coincidentally, when we were most thirsty. Half price Kingfishers anyone? If you aren’t keen to explore the area for dining options (or were too lazy like us), the hotel has 5 restaurants within its premises that you can choose from, as well as a great in room dining menu which I was guilty of ordering from a few times.

There is also a spa and salon which provided massages, treatments and hair services for you to indulge in for ultimate relaxation. Just note that there is a ‘luxury tax’ (25% from memory) that they charge on spa services so don’t be too shocked when you get your final bill!

Service was top notch – the concierge and travel desk were a godsend and went out of their way to cater to all of our last minute day trip requests. We loved our stay at the ITC Maurya and would recommend it to anyone staying in Delhi.

We liked:

Their signature scent
Complimentary shoe shine for the gents
The free wifi in the lobby
Top ups of complimentary bottled water every day
The variety of restaurants within the hotel
The in room dining menu – I was pretty guilty of lazing around in the hotel and ordering in because the bed was too darn comfy!
The salon inside the hotel, perfect for a luxe relaxation day
The concierge and travel desk. Amazing help in booking our last minute day trips everywhere
