Coron Bancuang Mansion is a b&b located on the main road to Coron Town. Its location is quite convenient and is walking distance to a few restaurants and sari sari stores. However, if you need to get to the port where most of the bangkas (boats) depart from for day trips, you would still need to catch a tricycle.

The b&b is a new establishment and during our stay, there was construction taking place to extend the rooms and build a new pool area. Luckily, we were spared from any noise of the construction as we were out during most of the day. The b&b was clean, modern and had most amenities available making it a comfortable stay. Staff were pleasant and willing to help with enquiries and also helped us arrange our day trips to the other islands.

We were treated to a tasty and traditional Filipino hot breakfast of garlic rice with fried fish and meats served on the balcony each morning. For those not accustomed to rice carb loading so early in the day, there were also some fresh fruits and juices available.
 
The balcony offers amazing views of the bay and is a treat during sunset. Cold beverage in hand, it’s not a bad place to retire to after a long day of swimming and exploring the islands.
