There’s no better way to experience Doha, than to be sailing on its turquoise blue waters with a backdrop of its picturesque skyline.

 

Along with fellow bloggers, I was fortunate enough to be invited to an afternoon of cruising around the harbour with Pink Lady Charters. I’ve been on a few boats before but this one by far was the most lavish and offered the luxury of privacy and exclusivity!

The facilities

 

Boasting several rooms for entertainment, the yacht can cater up to 24 guests docked at port or 12 sailing onboard. For overnight charters, it comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. Bedrooms contain ensuites with showers, toilets, and wooden vanities with amenities. Akin to a 5 star hotel suite, the master bedroom is quite spacious and is decked out in warm wooden tones and all white linen. The lounge inside the yacht has several entertainment options with a large lcd screen and a sound system where you can play your own music through your personal device.

 

There’s 2 dining spaces; a seated indoor dining area if you want to dine in air conditioned comfort, or outdoors if you prefer dining al fresco. The al fresco dining space is situated towards the back of the boat so it’s sheltered from the winds but open enough to enjoy the sea breeze.

 

Cushioned day beds on the top deck and the front of the yacht are perfect for siestas or working on your tan.

Food & Beverage

 

Guests are welcome to byo food and beverages onboard, however the team at Pink Lady Charters can help organise catering at an additional cost.

 

Ladies only?

 

Although the name of the company implies it’s for ladies only, families are also welcome to charter the private yacht.

 

Prices

 

Charters start from 4000 QAR for 2 hours which includes the all female crew. There are savings to be made if you hire the yacht for a longer period of time or if you hire it in the middle of the week. For an additional cost, you can also add on catering or other requirements suited for your event.
